Adam Saltzman is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the firm’s Government Enforcement Practice Group. His practice focuses on white-collar criminal and regulatory matters as well as complex civil litigation.

In 2009, Adam was selected by the firm to serve as an Assistant District Attorney in the Kings County (Brooklyn) District Attorney's Office through its Partners in Prosecution program. While at the District Attorney's Office, he successfully prosecuted numerous cases to conviction.

Prior to joining the Litigation Department, Adam started his career with Fish & Neave in 2001 as a patent agent and came to Ropes & Gray in the subsequent merger. While a patent agent for the firm, Adam assisted in managing a team of attorneys and other patent agents in providing patent prosecution services to clients. In addition, Adam gained litigation experience working alongside attorneys on patent litigations.

  • Representation of hedge funds in various insider trading investigations by multiple U.S. Attorney’s Offices and the SEC.
  • Representation of multiple executives of global manufacturing companies in international investigations of alleged price-fixing.
  • Representation of financial firms in federal investigations of alleged “pay to play” activities at public pension funds.
  • Representation of a public company in an internal investigation of alleged anti-competitive behavior by the CEO.
  • Representation of individuals in a dispute concerning alleged theft of trade secrets from their former employer.
