Alexandra Oprescu joined Ropes & Gray in 2005 and is an associate practicing in the Investment Management Group.

Her practice focuses on the representation of open- and closed-end mutual funds, business development companies, boards of trustees/directors, and investment advisers in their regulatory and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Alex practiced in the New York office of a law firm based in New York.  Alex has represented publicly and privately held companies and private equity funds.  She also has experience with mergers and acquisitions involving both publicly and privately held companies.
