Practice
Anne Claiborne joined Ropes & Gray in 2004 as an associate focusing primarily on health care matters. She works on a wide range of health care compliance matters, which have included evaluating a health care organization’s corporate compliance program and reviewing billing practices in an outpatient mental health clinic for compliance with reimbursement standards. She also works with clients, including academic medical centers, medical professional societies and pharmaceutical companies, to develop and implement compliance and conflict of interest policies. Anne provides guidance to provider and payor clients on issues relating to the implementation of the Medicare prescription drug benefit and Medicare managed care reform, and she advises a variety of provider networks regarding compliance with the antitrust laws in their payor contracting practices.
Professional Experience
Prior to attending law school, Anne worked as a public health policy analyst at a local health department and then conducted health services research in the area of adolescent health at a major medical center.
