Biography
Brian Matty joined Ropes & Gray in 2009 as technical advisor in the Intellectual Property Group.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Brian worked as a biomedical engineer at a private biotech spinoff from the University of Michigan towards the development of a cell-based bioartificial kidney device. While there, he contributed to research and development device design, tests of cellular device cryopreservation and in vitro longevity, and animal tests in a sheep model of chronic kidney failure.
