David McKay joined the firm in 1985 and is a partner practicing in the firm's Corporate Department. His practice is transactional with a concentration in financing transactions. David served a term as an assistant Head of the Corporate Department.
Professional Experience
Areas of practice and representative matters include:
- Lending - represents lenders in many transactions, including multi-bank syndicated credits and subordinated debt. Experienced in UCC matters and Islamic compliant financings (Shariah).
- Leveraged Buy-Outs - represents many of the firm's Private Equity clients in leveraged acquisitions helping to raise the senior secured and high yield bond portions of the financing.
- Leasing - represented lessors and lessees in connection with single investor and leveraged lease financings of aircraft and many other kinds of equipment.
- Sports - represents a group of Boston area businessmen in their participation in the winning bid for the Red Sox Baseball Team. Represents the Red Sox in connection with their acquisition financing.
