Practice
Win Quayle, a partner in the investment management group and former chair of the firm’s Corporate Department, practices corporate and securities law. He principally represents broker-dealers, from specialty boutique firms engaged in investment banking, research, and private fund distribution, to firms affiliated with large financial services organizations. Working with broker-dealers in the mutual fund, private equity, investment banking and real estate industries, he advises on such topics as firm and individual registration with the SEC, self-regulatory organizations and the states; general corporate matters; compliance, supervision and reporting; advertising and sales literature; product distribution; regulatory inspections and examinations; internal investigations; and changes in control and acquisition issues, including acquisitions initiated by the firm’s private equity clients. He also advises domestic and foreign financial institutions about available exemptions from broker-dealer registration.
