Practice
Fran Hanlon became a partner in 1976, and practiced in the Corporate Department until his retirement on December 31, 2007.
Fran has extensive experience in real estate matters, including the representation of lenders, developers, and investors in real estate including tax-exempt investors. Prior to joining the Real Estate Group, Fran practiced corporate law with Ropes & Gray for more than ten years. After joining the firm's Real Estate Group, Fran gained extensive experience in representing real estate lenders, investment funds for the purpose of purchasing real estate equities, and represented tax-exempt institutions in connection with investments in hotel, office, retail, and industrial properties throughout the U.S. Fran also represented corporate and institutional clients of the firm in developing and leasing properties for their own use.
