Geoff Davis, a partner since 1987, is a senior lawyer in the firm's Health & Life Sciences Practice and has extensive experience representing biotechnology, biomedical, medical device and pharmaceutical companies.
Professional Experience
Geoff's work includes numerous corporate partnering and licensing transactions for public and private biotechnology, biomedical and medical device companies, as well as pharmaceutical companies and major medical centers. He has also worked extensively on public and private financings for biomedical companies of all sizes, ranging from newly organized companies to established industry leaders, on behalf of both companies and their investment bankers. Geoff also has broad experience representing other technology-based companies, such as video compression and e-commerce companies, including, in particular, companies developing Internet privacy technology.

Professional & Civic Activities
Geoff currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Slater Center for Biomedical Technology, an independent state-sponsored non-profit corporation which has been instrumental in achieving several million dollars of funding for more than twenty start up biomedical companies in Rhode Island.
Geoff is a former Chairman of the Board of Trinity Repertory Theater and Planned Parenthood of Rhode Island. He served as a reporter, editor and managing editor of Phoenix-Times Newspapers for six years between college and law school.
