Grace joined Ropes & Gray’s intellectual property group in 2011 and is a registered patent agent. Grace advises a broad range of clients in managing patent portfolios and developing intellectual property strategies both in the United States and abroad. Grace has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications and conducting patent validity, infringement, freedom to operate, and due diligence analyses for a wide range of technologies.
Grace’s work involves a variety of technical disciplines including disease diagnostics, network biology, medical devices, data analytics, communications systems and networks, signal processing, control theory, and cloud computing. Prior to joning Ropes & Gray, Grace received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT, after receiving a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Grace’s graduate work at MIT focused on neural coding of complex auditory signals. Grace is currently a student at Harvard Law School and anticipates receiving her J.D. from Harvard in 2015.
