Practice
Greg Moore, a partner since 1985, is a member of Ropes & Gray's Intellectual Property Group and the firm's Corporate Department. He is also co-chair of the firm's Venture Capital and Start Up Company Practice Group.
Greg's practice focuses on representing venture capital investors and advising high-technology companies on a broad range of issues including domestic and international distribution, joint ventures, public and private financing, and the protection and licensing of technology. He also advises clients in a variety of industries on intellectual property matters.
Professional Experience
Greg served as the founding chairman of the Committee on Technology and Intellectual Property (now known as the Cyberspace Law Committee) of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association from 1988 until August 1992. A frequent speaker and writer on legal issues relating to intellectual property, computers and technology, he is a former member of the board of directors of the International Technology Law Association and the Advisory Committee for the Practice Guide on ADR in Technology Disputes of the CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution.
