Hardin focuses his practice on employee benefit and tax matters. He advises as to retirement plan compliance with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Department of Labor (DOL) requirements, and represents employers in governmental audits and investigations. Hardin also represents investment advisors who manage retirement plan assets in separate accounts or through collective investment vehicles. He meets regularly with IRS and DOL representatives as a member of the Pension Liaison Group maintained through the Northeast Regional Office of the IRS in Brooklyn, New York.
