Representative Matters
- We represented a Fortune 50 chemical company against Chevron Phillips Chemical Company in a USPTO interference proceeding. Subject matter: Process of making polymers using slurry loop reactors.
- We represented a Fortune 50 chemical company against Dow Chemical in District Court patent infringement actions, related USPTO interferences, and appellate proceedings. Subject matter: Metallocene catalysts and polyolefins.
- We represented General Electric against Sunoco in a USPTO interference. Subject matter: Advanced process technology for synthesis of phenols.
- We represented Rhodia in appellate proceedings against Benchmark Research and Technology. Subject matter: Fracturing fluids for oil well drilling.
- We advised MIT concerning a District Court action brought by Ambuj Sagar seeking to name Dr. Sagar as coinventor on patents assigned to MIT and the Massachusetts General Hospital. Subject matter: Melt-irradiated ultra high molecular weight polyethylene prosthetic devices.
