Jamie focuses primarily on patent litigation in a range of technology areas, including pharmaceuticals, computer science, mechanical engineering, and business methods. She has extensive experience in all aspects of patent litigation in district courts, from pre-suit investigations through to jury verdicts. In addition, Jamie also has experience in ITC investigations.

During law school, Jamie was an judicial intern for Chief Judge Edward Damich in the United States Court of Federal Claims. Prior to law school, Jamie worked as a research chemist at Arena Pharmaceuticals in San Diego, California.

Representative Clients and Matters

  • King Pharmaceuticals, et al. v. Teva Parenteral Medicines, et al., (D. Del.) - Part of litigation team representing plaintiff King Pharmaceuticals in an ongoing ANDA litigation related to epinephrine auto-injectors.
  • Wyeth Holdings Corp., et al. v. Sandoz Inc., (D. Del.) - Part of litigation team representing plaintiff Wyeth in an ongoing ANDA litigation related to a tigecycline antibiotic.
  • Lear Corporation v. TS Tech USA Corp., et al., (S.D. Ohio) - Part of litigation team representing TS Tech in ongoing patent infringement action brought by Lear concerning vehicle seat head restraint systems.
  • Graceway Pharmaceuticals, LLC and 3M Innovative Properties Co v. Nycomed US, Inc., (D. N.J.) - Part of litigation team representing Graceway and 3M in a patent infringement litigation against Nycomed concerning 7 patents directed to topical pharmaceutical creams containing imiquimod.
  • Roche Diagnostics Operations Inc. and Corange Int’l. Ltd. v. Nova Biomedical Corp., et al., (D. Del.) - Part of litigation team that successfully represented Nova in a patent infringement case involving two patents relating to blood glucose test strips brought by Roche. Won ruling of non-infringement on summary judgment based on successful claim construction. Appeal pending.
  • Lincoln National v. Transamerica, (N.D. Iowa) - Part of litigation team that represented Transamerica in case involving annuity business method patents brought by Lincoln National. Jury verdict of infringement overturned on appeal.
  • In the Matter of Certain Flash Memory Chips and Products Containing Same, (ITC) - Part of team that successfully secured dismissal of client Spansion from investigation brought by Samsung Electronics concerning flash memory products.
  • LG Electronics v. Quanta Computer Corp., (D. Wisc.) - Part of litigation team that represented LG Electronics in patent infringement case brought by Quanta regarding various aspects of DVD technology.
