Jill represents private equity sponsors in mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and other investments. She also counsels private equity portfolio companies in connection with debt and equity securities offerings and general corporate and governance matters. In addition, Jill has experience in the formation of private investment funds.
Jill represents pro bono clients on asylum and immigration matters and she participated in the M. Ellen Carpenter Financial Literacy Program as a volunteer, teaching financial literacy classes to high school juniors and seniors.
Jill is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), and prior to joining the firm, she worked for two large multinational accounting firms in their risk services groups.
- Represented Bain Capital in connection with its $2.1 billion (not including assumed debt) acquisition of restaurant chain Skylark Col, Ltd.
- Represented Bain Capital in two financing transactions, with an aggregate deal value of over $2 billion.
- Represented Dunkin’ Brand, Inc., the parent company of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robbins in its $625 million 144A high yield offering.
- Represented Castanea Partners in its purchase of a majority stake in Donald J. Pliner, Inc., a leading footwear and accessories designer.
- Represented Gridiron Capital, LLC in its acquisition of HM Dunn Company, Inc., an engineering and manufacturing company of high-precision, complex machined components for the aerospace industry.
