Kasia joined the Finance group of Ropes & Gray’s London office in 2010. She was previously with the London office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
Kasia represents sponsors, lenders and borrowers on a broad range of banking and finance transactions with a focus on acquisition finance.
- Acting for Altamont Capital Management LLC on its acquisition of insurance loss adjusters McLarens Young International and Airclaims Ltd.
- Acting for Apax Partners Worldwide LLP in the acquisition of Emap plc.
- Acting for First Reserve Corp. (Canada) in the acquisition of CHC Helicopter Corp.
- Acting for Silver Lake Partners in the acquisition of Skype group of companies from Ebay Inc.
- Advising Blackstone Group International Limited on finance documents relating to their earlier acquisition of Center Parcs.
- Advising Apax Partners Worldwide LLP on debt buy back in connection with their earlier acquisition of Panrico.
- Advising JP Morgan in connection with the restructuring of the Impress Group.
