Ontex To Be Acquired By TPG and Goldman Sachs
Ropes & Gray Advises on 1.2 Billion Euro Deal

Ropes & Gray represented private investment firm TPG Capital in its recent proposed purchase of Belgian diaper-maker Ontex, announced on July 15. Goldman Sachs’ private equity unit joined TPG in the proposed acquisition of the company. Maurice Allen, a London-based private equity and finance partner and Newcomb Stillwell, a Boston-based private equity partner lead the Ropes & Gray team on the transaction.
