Practice
Peter Rosenberg recently completed a term as the partner in charge of the Employee Benefits Practice Group at Ropes & Gray. He has concentrated on employee benefits since 1984. He is involved in all phases of design, implementation, compliance, and administration of employee benefit plans. He also deals extensively with the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor on a variety of interpretive and settlement matters. A substantial part of Peter's practice is devoted to tax-exempt entities and the range of unique compensation and benefits issues they face. He also routinely advises employers and other fiduciaries on the full range of ERISA issues, including plan governance, fiduciary duties, prohibited transactions and exemptions, and the plan asset regulations. Peter also has substantial experience in structuring real estate investments on behalf of pension funds and pension fund advisors.
