Additional Practice Area and Biographical Information

Corporate:

Alison Tschopp Bomberg specializes in investment fund formation, private equity and debt investments, leveraged buyouts, structured financing transactions and mergers and acquisitions.  Her clients include investment funds, funds of funds, investment advisors, finance companies and institutional and other investors.

Thomas R. Hiller specializes in matters relating to the investment management industry.  His practice includes the representation of investment advisers, mutual funds, hedge funds and commodity pools.

Julie Haggerty Jones counsels public companies and underwriters on a wide range of transactions, securities law issues and corporate governance matters.  Her practice also regularly includes representing private equity funds, institutional investors and high-tech private companies in mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions, particularly those involving the public markets.

David C. Sullivan specializes in matters relating to the investment management industry.  His practice includes the representation of open- and closed-end investment companies, independent trustees, investment advisers and private investment pools.

Labor & Employment:

Anthony D. Rizzotti maintains a broad labor and employment practice including employment litigation, labor arbitration, counseling, and collective bargaining negotiation.  He is a member of the firm's Sports Law Group, and is co-chair of the Boston Bar Association's Labor & Employment section.

Litigation:

Robert A. Skinner focuses on complex civil litigation for insurers and financial services companies, including major insurance coverage disputes and investor suits.  Other significant matters have included intellectual property and environmental damages litigation.

Jane E. Willis specializes in complex commercial litigation.  She is experienced in antitrust law, intellectual property and trademark matters, and merger and acquisition-related disputes.  In addition to handling active litigation matters, Jane regularly provides advice and counseling regarding fiduciary duty issues and competition law matters.  Her clients include publicly-traded corporations, privately-held businesses, and private equity funds involved in the consumer products, sports, high technology, and financial services industries.

Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights:

Marc E. Hirschfield is experienced in all aspects of insolvency practice.  He has represented debtors, creditors' committees, debtor-in-possession lenders, secured and unsecured creditors, and acquirers of assets in both out-of-court workouts and bankruptcy cases.
