Ropes & Gray Represents Green Mountain Coffee Roasters in International PIPE Deal

Ropes & Gray is representing Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. in Luigi Lavazza S.p.A's agreement to buy $250 million of newly issued shares of common stock. in the Vermont-based coffee company. Lavazza is one of the world's largest coffee manufacturers and Italy's top-selling espresso brand. The transaction is expected to close in September 2010.

Jane Goldstein, a Boston-based partner, led the Ropes & Gray team, which included New York-based associate Richard Gluckselig.
