Harry Rubin appointed co-chair of IBA Technology Committee

Harry Rubin, a partner in the Intellectual Property Group of Ropes & Gray and an internationally recognized expert in IP-driven transactions, has been appointed the co-chair of the Technology Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA). Established in 1947, the IBA is widely acknowledged as a leading global organization of legal practitioners, bar associations and law societies.

Rubin, who is based in the New York office of Ropes & Gray, organized and chaired the plenary session of the Technology Section of the IBA for a half-day panel on technology private equity transactions. The October 13, 2008 panel was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina during the IBA's annual conference.
