Sharon Remmer joined Ropes & Gray in 1998 and is Counsel in the Employee Benefits Department. Sharon advises both tax-exempt and for-profit clients with respect to the drafting and administration of their retirement and other benefit plans.
Professional Experience
Sharon has prepared a number of voluntary corrections submissions to the IRS, and has made various presentations to clients regarding plan compliance issues. Sharon works with many hospitals and universities on employee benefits matters that are unique to tax-exempt institutions. She is also a member of the firm's Sports Law Group, where she helps draft and negotiate deferred compensation agreements on behalf of collegiate coaches.
