Practice
Steve Wilcox, a Ropes & Gray partner since 1989, is a founder and the former chair of the firm's Life Sciences Practice Group. Steve focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing transactions (including public offerings, PIPEs, and venture capital investments) and licensing and collaborations. Most of his clients are engaged in the biotech, medical device and pharmaceutical industries. In addition to transactional work, he regularly counsels companies on a wide range of federal securities and corporate governance matters. Steve also represents a number of venture capital, private equity and investment banking firms in the Life Sciences sector.
