Vikram has a wide range of patent litigation experience, including pre-suit investigation and initiating civil actions, motion practice, managing complex document reviews and productions, taking depositions, assisting expert witness examination at trial, and drafting sections of appellate briefs before the Federal Circuit. He represents clients in industries including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer products, and software. Vikram also has experience in trademark litigation matters.
Vikram advises pro bono clients on matrimonial and family law matters.
Prior to attending law school, Vikram was an engineer at the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health.
- Currently representing Purdue Pharma L.P. against multiple defendants in patent infringement actions involving controlled release oxycodone hydrochloride formulations.
- Intendis, Inc. and Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences, Inc. v. River’s Edge Pharmaceuticals, LLC: Currently representing Intendis, Inc. and Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences, Inc. in a patent infringement action involving topical gel for the treatment of atopic dermatitis.
- Purdue Pharma L.P. v. Par Pharmaceuticals: Represented Purdue Pharma L.P. at trial and on appeal before the Federal Circuit in case involving controlled release opioid dosage forms.
- Certicom Corp. v. Sony Corp. et al.: Represented Certicom Corp. in a patent infringement suit involving encryption technology.
