Sara Perkins Jones

Associate

Sara is an associate in the firm’s Business & Securities Litigation group. Her practice includes complex commercial disputes, securities litigation and enforcement, insurance coverage issues, and appeals, in both state and federal courts. She has worked on behalf of clients in the private equity, biotechnology, insurance, and financial services industries.

Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Sara clerked for Justice Fernande R. V. Duffly of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts.

Sara maintains an active pro bono practice. She serves as a family law team co-leader for the firm’s Medical-Legal Partnership with Dot House Health, and has represented patients from Dot House and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in divorce and guardianship matters. Outside of the firm, Sara also serves a member of the board of directors of the Mother Brook Arts & Community Center in Dedham, Massachusetts.

Before applying to law school, Sara worked as a newspaper journalist. During law school, she interned with the Boston enforcement division of the Securities and Exchange Commission, assisting with investigations and discovery, and served as a student prosecutor with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston.
