Aishwarya Nair

Associate

Aishwarya Nair is an associate in the finance group of Ropes & Gray’s London office. Aishwarya focuses her practice on cross-border debt financings with a particular emphasis on Rule 144A and Regulation S high yield debt offerings. She has represented sponsors, corporates and financial institutions in a range of banking and leveraged finance transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Aishwarya worked as a corporate attorney at a leading Indian law firm for over three years and has represented several clients investing into India.

Experience

  • Acting for Cable & Wireless Communications group on the refinancing of its US$1.4 billion term loan B and revolving credit facilities.
  • Acting for Cable & Wireless Communications group on the issuance of US$700 million high yield bond offering and refinancing of existing debt. 
  • Acting for a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cablevision Systems Corporation and an indirect subsidiary of Altice N.V., in connection with refinancing of its existing debt.
  • Acting for UPC Holding B.V. and its subsidiaries in connection with multiple high yield bond issuances including through a special purpose vehicle, with the offering proceeds applied to fund term loans under credit facilities.
  • Acting as special New York counsel to Nordea Bank AB (publ) as agent in connection with certain investment grade IPO facilities. 
  • Acting for CSC Holdings, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cablevision Systems Corporation and an indirect subsidiary of Altice N.V., in connection with refinancing of its existing debt.
  • Acting for Suddenlink, an indirect subsidiary of Altice N.V., in connection with the refinancing of its existing debt.
