Shong Yin joined Ropes & Gray's intellectual property group in 2010.

Experience

Shong conducted research on solution processed non-volatile memory technology during his PhD studies in graduate school. Using a combination of materials and electrical characterization techniques, the effect of sintering conditions on the microstructure and mixed ionic-electronic conducting properties of nanoparticle thin films was investigated, and correlated to switching characteristics. He has prior industrial experience as a product engineer working on development of NOR Flash memory products at Spansion, LLC.
