Research in a new report by Ropes & Gray and Crain’s, “Digital Health: From Innovation to Solutions” – based on a survey of more than 250 health care, life science and digital health professionals -- reveals how digital health and artificial intelligence companies are navigating concerns around patient privacy, data security and intellectual property issues as they seek to strengthen partnerships with health care providers and life science companies.

Key Findings

• 60% of respondents said that health care’s strongly entrenched business and reimbursement models make it difficult to bring digital health products to market.
• 47% said that most health tech companies do not fully understand the health care market.
• 42% said it was likely or somewhat likely they would partner or contract with an AI Company over the next year.
