Baldemar Gonzalez

Baldemar Gonzalez joined Ropes & Gray’s litigation and enforcement group in 2019. As an associate, he represents clients in commercial, government enforcement, and anti-corruption due diligence matters. Baldemar also maintains an active pro bono practice. During law school, Baldemar served as a managing editor of the Columbia Law Review and was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He was also a research assistant to Professor Alexandra Carter to support the publishing of a negotiation textbook. Baldemar interned at the Department of Justice, where he evaluated claims and drafted settlement recommendations in suits filed against the United States under the Federal Tort Claims Act. Baldemar has experience mediating disputes in New York City courts.
