Yenis Argueta Guevara joined the intellectual property litigation group at Ropes & Gray in 2021.
In law school, Yenis was a senior editor of the Seton Hall Law Review, where her note titled “Matter of A-B-: A Decision that Absolves the United States of Its Role in Creating and Promoting Violence in El Salvador,” was published in Volume Fifty.
Yenis was a clinic student at the Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic, where she co-authored an amicus brief submitted to the Third Circuit on behalf of immigration law professors. Yenis has interned at Morgan Stanley and HIAS, an organization providing aid and legal assistance to refugees. She has represented several clients seeking asylum in the United States.
At Syracuse University, Yenis was the president of the engineering honor society, Tau Beta Pi, and led the campaign to include computer science students in the organization.
