Daniel Barden is an associate in the New York office of Ropes & Gray and a member of the special situations practice group.
Daniel originally joined the corporate department of Ropes & Gray in 2013 and rejoined the firm in 2018. Prior to rejoining the firm, Daniel co-founded a legal education start-up in Austin, TX, and worked as an M&A and venture capital associate in the Silicon Valley office of an international law firm.
During law school, Daniel worked as a research assistant for the Dean of the school, and served on the Senior Editorial Board of the Virginia Law Review. Upon graduation, Daniel was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
Prior to law school, Daniel was a forensic accountant at a Washington, DC accounting firm, where his practice included business valuation, litigation support, and fraud investigations.
