Damian Bastrzyk joined Ropes & Gray’s tax, employment, and benefits practice in 2022. His work includes tax planning, providing advice and solutions to employers in response to industry shifts, and advising on executive compensation and employee benefits matters.

While at Cornell Law School, Damian served as an articles editor for the Cornell Law Review, where he had a hand in the article selection process. Furthermore, he participated in the Low-Income Taxpayer Law and Accounting Practicum, where he assisted undocumented indigent individuals with their tax issues. Damian further helped the indigent by participating in the Estate Planning Practicum, where he established an estate plan for a local community member.

Prior to law school, Damian worked as an auditor and tax accountant.
