Katelyn M. Blaney
Katelyn Blaney joined Ropes & Gray in 2015 as an associate in the corporate department, with a focus in the life sciences and health care groups. Kate advises public and private companies on general corporate matters and a variety of transactional matters, including technology licensing and collaborations, mergers and acquisitions, research related agreements, product development collaborations, and other strategic commercial agreements. Her clients include companies and investors in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and health care industries.
As an associate, Kate was seconded to one of Boston’s leading academic medical centers to assist on transactional and regulatory matters. During law school, Kate served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Norman H. Stahl on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and as a law clerk in the General Counsel’s office at EMC. Kate also served as the Vice-Chair of her law school’s Student Bar Association.
