Brendon Caione

Associate

Brendon Caione joined the corporate department in the asset management group in 2014. Brendon focuses on counseling asset managers and registered and private investment funds, including buyout, credit, funds-of-funds, venture capital, and impact funds, on formation, regulatory, transactional and compliance matters. He also has experience advising clients on investments in cryptocurrencies, initial coin offerings (ICOs), cryptocurrency fund formation and related trading, custody and valuation issues.

Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Brendon served as in-house counsel to an international asset manager. In this position, he advised senior management in connection with fund formation, regulatory filings, trading documentation, and day-to-day management operations. Additionally, Brendon clerked for the Hon. K. Michael Moore, U.S. District Judge in the Southern District of Florida, and worked at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
