John Culhane joined Ropes & Gray’s tax, employment & benefits department in 2021. John graduated from New York University School of Law.
During law school, John interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, where he worked on various investigations and prosecutions. John also served as a senior articles editor for the New York University Journal of Law & Liberty and as the training chair for the NYU Trial Advocacy Society. In 2021, John was selected to serve as a panelist at the NYU Labor Center’s Annual Student Scholarship in Labor and Employment Law to present his scholarship on arbitrator authority to bind absent class members in class arbitrations.
Prior to law school, John worked as a paralegal, assisting on white collar, criminal, corporate, and student defense cases.
