Ji Chen

Associate

Ji Chen is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s life sciences group. She focuses her practice on representing public and private companies as well as financial investors in connection with mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and other general corporate matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ji was an associate at another leading international firm in Shanghai primarily focusing on China-related cross-border M&A transactions in a broad range of industries, including energy, automobile and life science sectors.

  • Represented a U.S.-based global food and beverage company on its acquisition of a PRC leading snack company from an A-share listed company.*
  • Represented a leading global investment manager for its investment in logistics properties in China through setting up an offshore vehicle with a China State-owned enterprise co-investor.*
  • Represented a leading global industrial gas company on its divesture of equity interest in several China joint ventures and certain industrial gas business through auction sales.*
