Peter Chi

Peter Chi joined Ropes & Gray in 2017 and is a member of the firm's technology transactions and life sciences practice groups. Peter advises public and private companies, investors, and universities in a variety of transactions where technology or IP assets are the fundamental drivers. These transactions include intellectual property licensing and transfer, product development and research collaborations, technology-focused mergers and acquisitions, cloud contracts, supply and distribution agreements and other strategic relationships. Peter works with companies in a broad range of industries including biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, cloud-computing, software, financial technology, and digital health industries.  

Prior to law school, Peter was stationed in Hong Kong for several years serving as the Asian operations coordinator for a leading provider of brand protection products and services. Peter has also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM providing enterprise software consulting to Fortune 500 clients.
