Gisella joined Ropes & Gray in 2021 as an associate in the private equity transactions group. Gisella represents private equity sponsors and strategic acquirers in a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, minority investments and divestitures. Gisella also advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on general corporate and governance matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Gisella was an associate in the private equity and mergers and acquisitions group of another premier international law firm. 

Experience

  • Represented Accenture in its acquisition of Symantec’s Cyber Security Services business from Broadcom.*
  • Represented Altas Partners in its acquisition of Tecta America, a national leader in commercial roofing services in the United States, and in its acquisition of DuBois Chemicals, a premier provider of customized and value-added specialty chemicals and services.*
  • Represented Centerbridge Partners in its acquisition of American Bath Group, a leading manufacturer of showers, bathtubs and related accessories.*
  • Represented Intelsat, operator of the world’s largest and most advanced satellite fleet and connectivity infrastructure, in its $400 million acquisition of the commercial aviation business of Gogo, the largest global provider of in-flight broadband connectivity.*
  • Represented KKR in its acquisition of Novaria Group, a leading manufacturer of specialty aerospace hardware.*
  • Represented L Catterton in its $200 million growth investment in ICON Health & Fitness, the world leader in innovation, design and distribution of connected fitness equipment and software.*
  • Represented LLamasoft, a leader in AI-powered supply chain design and planning, in its $1.5 billion sale to Coupa Software.* 
  • Represented Nexstar Broadcasting Group in its $6.4 billion acquisition of Tribune Media Company, creating the largest local television broadcaster and local media company, and in its $1.3 billion sale of nineteen television stations in fifteen markets to TEGNA and The E.W. Scripps Company.*
