Peter Diliberti is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s litigation and enforcement practice group. He has experience in complex commercial disputes, administrative appeals, government investigations, and litigation due diligence. Peter’s experience includes drafting complaints, responsive pleadings, and motions (including dispositive motions), preparing for depositions and government presentations, as well as managing written discovery and document production. He works with a varied group of clients, including private equity firms and their portfolio companies, health care companies, and financial institutions.

Peter is a graduate of St. John’s University (MN) and Boston College Law School. During law school, he interned with the Trial Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, worked as a student attorney in the Boston College Legal Services LAB, and served as a senior editor of the Boston College Law Review.

  • Represented leading financial institution in connection with a class action lawsuit brought in federal court in the Southern District of New York, concerning alleged business torts arising from client relationships.
  • Represented private equity firm in connection with contract and fraud dispute in the Delaware Court of Chancery.
  • Represented pharmaceutical manufacturer in multidistrict state and federal litigation regarding its prescription opioid products.
