Shawn joined Ropes & Gray in 2019 as an associate in the corporate department, practicing primarily in the firm's asset management group. He represents U.S. and non-U.S. investment advisers, private investment funds, and registered open- and closed-end investment companies in a range of transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters.
Before joining the firm, Shawn clerked for the Honorable Rebecca Grady Jennings in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. He also worked as an associate at another elite law firm in Washington, D.C., where his practice focused on complex regulatory, transactional, and data privacy matters.
