Areas of Practice

Jane Eiselein leads the professional development team, which develops and implements in-house training and development programs on substantive legal and legal practice skills. The professional development team is responsible for attorney training programs firm wide, by department and by practice group. The team also handles business support training, CLE, training camps and retreats, and the writing coach program, and it provides guidance internally on designing effective training programs for lawyers.

Jane reports to Erica Murphy, chief human resources officer.

Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Jane was the firm-wide director of professional development at WilmerHale for over ten years. She also practiced corporate law at Hale and Dorr and worked on education policy in the U.S. Senate. Jane is admitted to the Massachusetts bar. She is a graduate of University of Virginia, Boston College Law School, and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
