Gillian Fisher joined Ropes & Gray’s corporate department in 2021 and practices in the private capital transactions group.

During law school, Gillian served as a note editor for the BU Journal of Science & Technology Law, a First-Year Legal Writing Fellow, and a student advocate for the Startup Law Clinic. She also interned at the WGBH Educational Foundation and for the Honorable Eric N. Vitaliano at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Prior to law school, Gillian worked at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, investigating criminal cases in Manhattan.

  • Represented TSG Consumer Partners and Oak Hill in their significant minority investment in Wrench Group, a provider of residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical services.
  • Represented Harvest Partners and its portfolio company VetCor in its add-on acquisition of People, Pets & Vets, an operator of veterinary hospitals.
  • Represented Audax Group in its acquisition of Medi-Weightloss, an operator of physician-supervised weight-loss and wellness clinics.
  • Represented THL in its acquisition of Intelligent Medical Objects, a healthcare data enablement provider, from Warburg Pincus.
  • Represented The Vistria Group in its acquisition of Beacon Specialized Living Services, a provider of residential healthcare services.
