Ashley Fisher joined Ropes & Gray’s Boston office in 2022 and practices in the data, privacy & cybersecurity group. Ashley is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the United States (CIPP/US).
While studying at Boston University School of Law, Ashley worked as a corporate counsel extern at Vapotherm, Inc., providing compliance support with a focus on data privacy issues including the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). Ashley also worked as an intern at HubSpot, Inc., where she supported matters including those involving intellectual property and contracting. Prior to law school, Ashley attended Cornell University.
