Michael Fitzgerald is an associate in the Litigation and Enforcement group. His practice focuses on complex commercial disputes and appellate work. He has experience in all stages of litigation, including drafting dispositive motions, taking depositions, conducting witness examinations, and briefing appeals.
Michael rejoined Ropes & Gray in 2019 following a yearlong clerkship with Judge Britt C. Grant of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. During law school, Michael worked in the Criminal Justice Clinic representing indigent defendants in misdemeanor criminal cases and parole revocation hearings. After graduation and prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Michael worked as a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office of another international law firm.
