Zahra Fatima

Zahra Fatima is an associate in the asset management group in New York. Zahra’s practice focuses on advising fund sponsors in connection with formation, fundraising, regulatory and compliance matters related to private funds and other alternative investment structures. She advises fund sponsors on private equity funds, co-investment vehicles, separately managed accounts and other bespoke investment vehicles. Her experience includes a wide range of investment strategies, including private equity/buyout, credit/debt, real estate, venture and technology.

Zahra joined Ropes & Gray in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at a global law firm representing various international and domestic fund sponsors.

During law school, Zahra assisted clients in the St. John’s Securities Arbitration Clinic by advocating for investors in disputes against broker-dealers.
