Emily Grand joined Ropes & Gray in 2021 in the Silicon Valley office as an associate in the intellectual property transactions group. Emily advises public and private companies and institutions in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and technology industries in transactions involving corporate and intellectual property matters, including licensing and collaboration, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic commercial transactions.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Emily was an associate at an international law firm where she gained extensive experience in assisting clients with complex patent litigation matters in district courts and at the International Trade Commission, along with experience conducting patent infringement and validity analysis for a wide range of technologies.
