Sam Pauley joined Ropes & Gray as an associate in the litigation and enforcement practice group in 2021. Her practice focuses on government and internal investigations, complex commercial litigation, and regulatory matters. Sam works with a range of clients, including private equity firms, public companies, boards of directors, and executives. Sam also plays an active role in Rope & Gray’s Women’s Forum and maintains a strong pro bono practice.

During law school, Sam served as symposium editor for the St. John's University Law Review, vice president of the Women's Law Society, and research assistant to Dean Michael Simons. Sam graduated law school with the National Association of Women Lawyers Award, the Public Service Award, and the St. Vincent de Paul Child Advocacy Clinic Award. Prior to law school, she worked at a small government affairs law firm in Minnesota.
