German Andres Guberman

German Andres Guberman joined Ropes & Gray’s New York office as a law clerk in 2022. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, German co-founded, was the head of product and handled legal matters at a cybersecurity startup with operations in the United States and Canada. While in that role, German studied at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where he founded the university’s chapter of Legal Hackers, which brought together lawyers and technologists to discuss the future of the legal profession and the regulation of cutting-edge technologies.

Prior to law school, German worked in climate change mitigation and adaptation at a legal nonprofit organization. German was born in Argentina and grew up in Montreal, which has made him fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
