Ashley J. Hersutamto is an associate in the asset management group in Boston. She leverages her diverse experience in private fund legal, regulatory and operational matters to advise fund sponsors and private funds throughout their lifecycle, from formation to operation and beyond. Ashley also advises institutional investors investing in private funds, co-investments and similar transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Ashley was an associate at other global law firms. Previously, she was a Boston-based investment adviser/investment company securities compliance examiner within the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations, where she examined the compliance programs and operations of investment advisers (with an emphasis on private fund managers) throughout the New England region. Prior to law school, Ashley managed the operations of a boutique law firm and fund administrator whose clients were solely start-up private funds and their managers.
