Eva Hellwig (Schlitz)

Eva is an associate in Ropes & Gray's tax, employment, and benefits department. Her practice includes employment investigations and disputes as well as transactional matters.
During law school, she was a member of Georgetown’s Appellate Courts Immersion Clinic, where she wrote briefs for prisoners’ rights and employment discrimination cases in the federal courts of appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. She also served as a law fellow teaching assistant in the first-year writing program and the managing editor of the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law. She was a Special Pro Bono Pledge Honoree for her work as a volunteer with an email hotline that provides legal information to victims of domestic violence. Before law school, she spent nearly a decade working as a writer for nonprofit organizations and other businesses.
