Michael D. Hanify
Michael Hanify is an associate in the litigation and enforcement group whose practice includes complex civil litigation, antitrust matters, intellectual property disputes, and government investigations. Michael maintains a robust pro bono practice representing veterans and asylum applicants.
Before joining Ropes & Gray, Michael clerked for the Honorable George A. O’Toole, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. During law school, Michael worked as a student attorney in the Boston College Legal Services Lab, where he defended and won damages for a tenant in a defensive eviction bench trial. He also served as senior editor of the Boston College Law Review, research assistant to Professor David Olson, and teaching assistant for U.S. & International Antitrust Law.
